testing

I didn't want January 1st to arrive and not be able to upload a photo -- so this was a test...and it also happens to be one of my favorite images from the holidays. The minute the tree went up, the youngest cat spent most of her days in it or chewing on it (our first tree, for obvious reasons). The tree was packed away today to eliminate further hazards.
